Doctor Appointment
Well, I had an appointment with my GP doctor yesterday and it was really good. He is the best, always sets my mind at ease about things. He told me my fears of methotexrate are unfounded. The worst symptom he has seen is it not working for people, the only issue would be if I was anemic which he explained I am not, I jut have large red blood cells. So I am going to make an appointment with my rheummy, calling him now. The office is closed! It is just my luck. I will have to call on Monday...I am determined to get this out of my head and finished. MY doctor also prescribed me some Xanax and a muscle relaxer. I am hoping one or both will help me to sleep at night, Ambien doesn't work anymore. My doctor at one point said something abot not being a man, but a doctor. I agree, he even complemented my new hair and asked if I got a perm! Men don't do that! I just love him but in a fatherly kind of way. He asked if he ever has lied to me and I had to say no. He is probably one of the only people in my life who I think hasn't. It is nice to have so much trust in a doctor. He really is the best and I always feel better for at least a few days after seeing him. He said I am looking better even though I am not feeling better and that I need to get off prednisone sooner rather than later. I am going to cut down to .25 of the prednisone today. i am not ready for a flare on top of how I am feeling but my doc. thinks I have built a tolerance to it and that is why I feel so horrible. I know I felt best on 20 mg, like a new woman. Sigh....the deadly life saving wonder drug...
